The [[HEART Framework]] is a framework used to measure the UX of [[Software]]. ^about
It was originally developed by Kerry Rodden at Google during 2010 and is an acronym representing the dimensions:
> **Happiness** - the subjective measure of the user's **emotional response** to the app or feature
> **Engagement** - the measure of how **much** the user uses the app or feature
> **Adoption** - the measure of how many **new users** use the app or feature
> **Retention** - the measure of **longevity or recurrence** of users using the app or feature
> **Task Success** - the measure of users executing workflows **through to completion**
Where each dimension has three elements, conceptually similar to [[OKR]]:
> **Goal** - objective of the dimension (effectively the text above, paraphrased)
> **Signals** - what behaviours would indicate goal convergence (e.g. user thinks highly of this app for 'Happiness')
> **Metrics** - quantifiable representation of the signals (e.g. average star rating on Play Store for the above signal)
